Tapco Inc.® Collapsible Stock or Blade Bayonet Cut For SKS is made in USA with a light weight composite material for high durability and comfort. It is very simple to set up, and gives a sophisticated look to your rifle, without replacing or modifying it. The matching color pattern gives a modern day tactical weapon look to your rifle. The six position stock line up to any sized shooter for a perfect fit. Advanced handguard also consist of built-in Picatinny/Weaver rail limiting the use of the iron sights. Its length is 11.5 inches when collapsed and 15 inches when fully extended. The well known SAW style pistol grip represses operator fatigue, discomfort and injury offering a greater comfort and control to the user. Along with that a utile storage compartment is placed within the grip housing. For smoother and true edges each cut is accomplished by a double-passing titanium bit. It has a solid locking system. This item counts as 3 U.S. Sec 922R compliant parts along with TAPCO USA mark. It can be set up on all SKS models including the D model. Rating:  Pretty Cool transformation! wanted to protect my original wood stock...chose this one. Gas tube was a pain in the @$# to change though, needed to file some off, ok for someone with moderate gunsmithing knowledge. If you have None, Then purchase the entire gas tube kit for a Super Fast install. took me about an hour and a half working on gas tube only but i won''t lie.. I enjoy the challenges

Rating: Nice new look for the SKS. It took me some time to put together, however if one knows the ins and outs of breaking down the SKS rifle then it would be a breeze. One issue that I have is with the gas tube. I could not get the gas tube locked down. There are some forums on the internet that cover this issue. I have not at this point tried any suggestions. Wish I knew ahead of time, I could be shooting this weekend.

Rating: This stock is fabulous. With the addition of the pistol grip, the SKS is a lot steadier in the offhand position. And what a difference a few ounces in weight reduction makes. The hi cap removable magazine is why I actually purchased the T6 stock - no problem to drop one mag out and quickly put another in its place. Now as to why I didn''t give it 5 stars... there was a bit of gunsmithing that had to be done. The pin in the old gas tube handguard flange had to be drilled out on a drill press - I couldn''t even punch it out with a hydraulic press. Secondly, the stock had an upward bow in it just under the rear sight - and the rear flange needed re-fitting. But anybody with a small shop in the garage should have no trouble making this stock fit like a glove, and when you''re done, you''ll have a thing of real beauty to show off.
