The Cold Steel Safemaker I is a smaller package, but delivers maximum performance. This Cold Steel knife zips through materials at unbelievable speeds. The 4 1/2 inch blade of the Cold Steel is a razor sharp 400 series stainless-steel that can be used to open packages, cut through rope or punch heavy cartons. The unique Cold Steel Kraton handle offers a variety of grips that would be impossible for any other blade. The Cold Steel Safemaker I comes with a Sexure-Ex sheath to keep it protected when not in use. A lanyard clip is also included if you want to clip it to a gear pack or so you won't misplace your keys.

Once I got this in the mail, I quickly opened it up. Out of the box, the blade wasn''t that sharp on the sides, but it was damn sharp at the tip. The kraton handle was very comfortable and had no possibility of slipping or dropping out of my hand. It was polished like a mirror. I tested it out on a piece of plywood, and this thing packs a punch! It''s also very intimidating.
