The AK version of the grip is nice. Fit tightly to the weapon, no modifications needed and hasn't come loose. On the other hand, the AR version has MAJOR faults in the design. First off it does NOT tightly fit the receiver (tried on two different receivers), but more importantly it does stay tight. The plastic on the inside, right where the grip bolt goes into the gun is VERY then, and with the least bit of torque on the grip, it deforms and the grip is now loose on the gun. The AK version works fine. Don't buy the AR version
