Great stock makes the weapon more manageable, just wish it had sights to go with it.I put a red dot on it works good.

Good replacement stock for the Remington 597, changes the look and feel of the gun greatly. The ARS stock fit well over the receiver and barrel with no problems and is very sturdy. Only complaint I could have is that the stock did not arrive with the hex wrench needed to insert the bolt threw the gun handle, this is really required to reach the bolt and tighten it at the correct angle. Overall good buy and would recommend, my only concern is that the composite threads may tear out of the stock after several disassembly/assemblies of the gun, but no sign of a problem yet.

This conversion is well made for a bunch of polymer! ]plastic[ Assembly was quick and easy with good fitting. The one thing is was supposed to contain was a long hex driver to attach the rear mounting screw located inside of the pistol grip. Also, I think I would''ve preferred the assembly instructions on a separate piece of paper rather than printed a foot long across the back of the packaging! ]I don''t want to keep a bunch of folded up cardboard stashed somewhere in event that I opt to take the stock off at a later date & want to look up the instructions![ The biggest complaint was the extendable stock. While it is VERY solid & nicely constructed, it does not adjust easily due to the plastic on plastic construction. All in all, a decent stock for the money!
